This Module of the Virtual Classroom is devoted to notable quotations of José Rizal. You are asked to reflect on the quotation and consider implications for your life or the life of your nation. Would you like to make a contribution? Suggested format: ONE: Describe in a few words the "setting" of the quotation such as the source, the date, the author (usually Rizal), the place where it was written, the purpose behind the selected quote, and any other pertinent features that you feel are important. TWO: The quotation, itself. If it is in translation, note who translated it and the source. THREE: The quotation in the context of the original paragraph. FOUR: Questions that grow out of the quotation which relate to the lives of the students, the situation of the Philippines, etc. FIVE: Your name (and/or nickname) and something about yourself.
